JJ-CCR Rebreather Training – Air Diluent & Helitrox

The JJ-CCR Rebreather is widely respected in the technical diving community for its robust engineering, reliability, and simplicity of operation. Designed for demanding technical and exploration diving, the JJ-CCR features a durable stainless-steel frame, highly redundant life-support systems, and a straightforward mechanical design that emphasizes reliability in complex dive environments.

Its large scrubber capacity, stable work of breathing, and flexible configuration make it well suited for deep decompression and mixed-gas diving. For many experienced technical divers, the JJ-CCR has become a trusted platform for both advanced training and serious exploration dives.

JJ-CCR Air Diluent Diver

Duration: 7 days
Maximum Depth: 40 m / 130 ft

This entry-level JJ-CCR course introduces divers to closed-circuit diving using air as a diluent. The course focuses on understanding CCR physiology, equipment operation, and fundamental CCR procedures.

Training Includes:
  • JJ-CCR unit configuration and assembly
  • Pre-dive checks and maintenance
  • Loop management and PO₂ control
  • Bailout planning and execution
  • Emergency and failure drills
  • Buoyancy, trim, and propulsion on CCR

JJ- CCR Air Diluent with Deco

Duration: 7 days
Maximum Depth: 45 m / 147 ft

This JJ-CCR course adds decompression profiles using a single deco tank in addition to a bailout tank. Dive planning using bailout and deco gas, following a decompression schedule along with additional skills.

Prerequisites:
  • Minimum age 18.
  • TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver certified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 30 hours and 30 dives on the CCR unit.
  • Six months CCR diving experience.
Course:
  • Dive using two stage tanks.
  • Go into 10 minutes of deco.
  • Dive planning for decompression.

JJ-CCR Helitrox Diver

Duration: 7 days
Maximum Depth: 45 m / 150 ft

The Helitrox course expands JJ-CCR training by introducing helium-based diluents to reduce narcosis on deeper dives. Divers learn advanced planning, gas management, and deeper CCR execution.

Training Includes:
  • Helitrox theory and gas selection
  • Advanced decompression planning
  • Multiple bailout strategies
  • Deep dive procedures and team protocols
  • Advanced problem recognition and resolution
Prerequisites:
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures (or equivalent
  • Minimum logged dives (including technical dives)
  • Good buoyancy and situational awareness
