Black Deep Technical Diving

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

Technical diving courses require advance planning, instructor scheduling, and gas preparation. This policy ensures fairness to both students and the training operation.

  • Course Deposits

A deposit may be required to reserve a course or program. Deposits are generally non-refundable but may be transferable to a future training date if sufficient notice is provided.

  • Student Cancellation

If a student cancels:

More than 30 days before training

  • Deposits may be transferred to a future date.

Less than 30 days before training

  • Deposits may be forfeited due to scheduling commitments.
  • Course Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests will be accommodated whenever possible based on instructor availability.

  • Weather & Ocean Conditions

Diving activities are dependent on weather and sea conditions. If conditions prevent safe diving:

  • Training may be rescheduled
  • Alternative dives may be conducted when appropriate
  • Incomplete Courses

If a student is unable to complete a course due to performance, personal reasons, or scheduling constraints, additional training days may be arranged at additional cost.

  • Gas and Consumables

Technical gases (Nitrox, Trimix, Helium) and other consumables may be charged separately depending on the course.

  • No-Shows

Failure to attend scheduled training without prior notice may result in forfeiture of course deposits.
